If you knew what was good for you you’d know about The Penny Jam, the weekly video podcast I produce here in Portland Oregon. We film local bands in unusual places, you’d like it. Anyhow, on July 2nd Holocene is hosting a showing the first 10 episodes of the podcast and 3 of the bands will rocking the shit out of your everything; Magic Johnson, Eric John Kaiser and The Ascetic Junkies. It should be a lot of fun, and a rare opportunity to see the videos at their original quality. Best part of the whole thing - it is FREE. So BRING YOUR FRIENDS. Also there is a rumor going around that there will be punch and pie.

It’s hard to believe that we’ve already got 10 episodes of the Penny Jam out. We’ve actually filmed 13 now - Sleep, Laura Gibson and Mattress are in the editing phase. We were really happy with how the following episode turned out, Eric kindof tricked us into doing a 2 song set but we didn’t mind. If you are curious about the place go the the Yarnia website or the Chronicles of Yarnia, the blog. You can find Eric John Kaiser on Myspace.

I havn’t posted about the podcast ( The Penny Jam ) lately, so check out this little gem that we filmed a few weeks ago. And stay tuned for our upcoming episodes, Eric John Kaiser in a Yarn store called Yarnia, Sleep on a rooftop and Laura Gibson at OMSI. Now I present you with Dirty Mittens performing their song “Time Forgiver” at Old Portland Hardware.
